Data Deletion and Account Disconnection

Effective date: September 3, 2026

You control whether Kolect can access Gmail and your connected social accounts. Disconnecting an account stops future access. You may also request deletion of data Kolect previously obtained or created through the connection.

1. Disconnect Gmail inside Kolect

  • Sign in to your Kolect creator workspace.
  • Open Profile, then open the Gmail and Richi settings.
  • Select Disconnect Gmail and confirm.

Kolect revokes or retires the active OAuth grant and stops future Gmail collection, synchronization, draft delivery, labeling, and sending. Disconnecting does not delete your Google account or messages you already sent.

2. Revoke access through Google

You may also visit your Google Account third-party connections and remove Kolect or Richi. Revoking access stops Kolect from making new Gmail API requests. Drafts, labels, and sent messages already present in Gmail remain under your control in Gmail.

3. Disconnect a social account

In Profile, find the connected TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube account, select Disconnect, and confirm. You can also revoke Kolect from the connected platform's own app or security settings. Disconnecting stops future refreshes but does not delete your account on that platform.

4. Request deletion of stored data

Email hello@kolect.ai with the subject "Kolect creator data deletion request." Include the email address used for your Kolect account and identify the account or connection you want deleted. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or other login credentials. We may request limited information to verify that the request comes from the account owner.

5. What deletion covers

A verified request covers, as applicable:

  • OAuth access and refresh tokens held by Kolect.
  • Connected Google, Gmail, and social account identifiers.
  • Gmail message metadata and relevant content stored by Kolect.
  • Derived classifications, summaries, deal records, analytics, and AI-generated drafts.
  • Draft attachments and synchronization records associated with your creator account.
  • Imported social profile, content, audience, and analytics data.

We delete or de-identify covered Kolect-held data within 30 days after verifying the request. Limited records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, audit, or dispute resolution. Backup copies expire through the normal backup cycle, generally within 90 days. Deleting Kolect-held data does not recall sent email or delete data held independently in your Google or social account.

6. Delete your Kolect creator profile

Use the same email process and state that you want your entire Kolect creator profile deleted. This covers your profile and connected-account data, subject to the limited retention described above. For questions about disconnection or deletion, contact hello@kolect.ai.
